Monson Agencies Australia Pty Ltd commenced operations under the name of Botany Bay Shipping Agencies Pty Ltd and was founded by our Principal, Mr Dale Monson in January 1981. Dale Monson has over thirty years experience in the shipping industry and has expanded Monson Agencies from a two person office handling only port calls in Fremantle, to a business with offices in 12 Australian cities attending some 43 ports, as well as Singapore and India.

 In July 1989 after a change in shareholders, a name change to Monson Agencies Pty Ltd took place. A further name change to Monson Agencies Australia occurred in June 2003 to reflect the opening of company owned and operated offices in the ports of Townsville, Mackay, Gladstone, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Dampier and Port Hedland.

Our Head Office is located in Fremantle , Western Australia . This is an advantage for our European based customers as the time difference between Fremantle and Europe is up to 3 hours less than the East Coast of Australia. For our customers in South East Asia , Fremantle is in the same time zone.
