Cargo Services

Following services are offered to Shippers/Producers:

Logistical Services

  • Liaising with Shipper's Representative regarding cargo demands
  • Liaising with all parties (site, rail, port) to understand impact of any capacity constraint on forward demand  (eg. maintenance activities, competing track and unit demand on transport capacity)
  • Liaising with Shipper's Representative and Terminal Operators regarding suitable timing for upcoming shipments (in line with overall Terminal demand, available storage space and any known system capacity constraint)
  • Processing vessel nominations with shippers and initiating formal acceptance
  • Liaising with shipper in regards to earliest availability of storage space and projected rail program
  • Co-ordinating rail program with Transport Provider and advising confirmed plan to Shipper's Representatives
  • Providing spreadsheet summary detailing individual train receivals (both Transport Provider weighbridge weights and belt weights), cumulative cargo assembly tonnage and outbound Draft Survey weight.


Shipping Services

  • Receiving vessel nomination from the customer and accept/not accept as appropriate, advising customer
  • Receiving documentary instruction and prepare proforma documents for acceptance of shippers / producers customers prior to vessels arrival
  • Organising surveyors for Cleanliness and Draft surveys
  •  Obtaining ECN number on-line from Australian Customs and complying with all Custom's requirements
  • Following advice from surveyors of the vessel's nominated stowage rotations, we co-ordinate between vessels and shore personnel to ensure quickest port turnarounds are achieved
  • Co-ordinating vessel arrival and attending vessels at anchorage or load berth where applicable and liaising with Ship's Masters and Surveyor and Hatch officers prior to loading
  •  Controlling the vessel's estimated cargo lift, ensuring the contract minimums and draft restrictions gazetted by Shippers are adhered to
  • Attending vessel at completion of loading and completing required documents and obtaining all necessary signatures. Liaising with vessels' agents to ensure correctness of documentation
  • Advising all parties of sailing details
  • Preparing lay time statement as per shipper's requirements
  • Collating and dispatching documents as per document instructions
  • Preparing and forwarding Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports as required.
