Off-Shore Support Services

Due to our expertise, a number of clients outsource the following services to us:


Customs Agency services

We arrange:

  • Customs clearance services for the import and export of all seismic vessels and rig tenders
  •  Clearance, packing and/or unpacking of containers or single items of equipment imported during the operation of those vessels while in Australian waters
  •  Export of any equipment and parts as instructed by the vessel
  • The receival from the vessel and distribution of data tapes to relevant parties.
  • The claiming of Customs duty paid when purchasing bunkers
  • The claiming of Customs duty charged for bunkers remaining on board at the time of importation.

Shore Based Services

We arrange:

  • Hire and delivery of offshore equipment such as bins, open and closed, containers, both dry and reefer, to vessels
  • Shore contractors for engineering and other work as required
  • Road transport for delivery of inward and outward ship's equipment (if the vessel is operating from a non-capital city port, this may involve long distance transport)
  • The quotation, purchase and supply of equipment as requested by the respective vessels
  • Supply of cash advances to vessels in either US or Australian dollars
  • To obtain prices and stem bunkers as required at all Australian ports
  •  Berth, pilot and mooring/unmooring services for regular port calls of chartered supply vessels as required, generally on a weekly or two weekly turn around, but more frequently if required
  • Stevedoring labour to load and discharge supply vessels
  • Disposal of ships rubbish and scrap items
  • Warehousing, storage and consolidation as required.

All these services are 7 days a week, and communications are monitored during evenings and weekends.

Crew Transport Logistics

We arrange:

  • To meet all joining crew on arrival at the airport, arrange accommodation if required and transport to and from the accommodation
  •  Transfer for departing crews from the helicopter /charter flight to join their scheduled flights and/or arrange accommodation if required
  • Liaison with aircraft charter companies with regard to passenger lists, departure and arrival of flights
  • Conference facilities, including meals as required for crew inductions.
