Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (Terminal code D.B.C.T.) is owned by Ports Corporation of Queensland and leased by Prime Infrastructure and operated by Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd.
Terminal is located some 35 kms south of Mackay on the Central Queensland coast and provides the export outlet for coal mined in the region.
Terminal users are Pacific Coal (Rio Tinto) (Blair Athol and Hail Creek Mines), Anglo Coal Australia (Capricorn, German Creek, Moranbah North and recently purchased Foxleigh Mines), Xstrata Coal (Oaky Creek and Oaky North Mines), BM Alliance Coal (All BMA Mines in the north Bowen Basin), Peabody Energy Australian Coal (North Goonyella and Burton Mines), Australian Premium Coal (Macarthur Coal) (Coppabella Mine), AMCI Australia (Issaac and Carborough and Broadlea Mines) and Excel Coal (Millennium Mine).
This terminal is an open sea port and consists of three berths whose current annual export is 51 million metric tons.
