Monson Agencies Australia Pty Ltd is a Shipping Agency with our head office based in Fremantle, Western Australia.

• We currently employee 65 staff and have 16 offices located within reach of all Australian Ports.
• In the last calendar year we attended to over 3000 port calls in Australia.
• We specialise in bulk commodities such as Coal, Iron Ore, Alumina, Caustic Soda, Salt, Mineral Sands and Grains.

About us then...

Monson Agencies Australia Pty Ltd commenced operations under the name of Botany Bay Shipping Agencies Pty Ltd and was founded by our Principal, Mr Dale Monson in January 1981.  Dale Monson has over forty years experience in the shipping industry and has expanded Monson Agencies from a two person office handling only port calls in Fremantle, to a business with offices in 15 Australian cities attending some 43 ports, as well as all ports in Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and China.

In July 1989 after a change in shareholders, a name change to Monson Agencies Pty Ltd took place. A further name change to Monson Agencies Australia occurred in June 2003 to reflect our expansion to the East Coast of Australia with the opening of an additional 12 offices.
